Here is some of the  positive feedback we have received about the impact of our work.

FEEDBACK ON ALL OUR SERVICES

COLLABORATION WITH "GREEN MINDS"

"Through our Green Minds Programme, we worked closely with Deostara to develop a systems thinking approach to our programme delivery to support urban nature recovery for people and wildlife in Plymouth. As well as the coaching and leadership guidance, we really benefited from the trusted relationship we developed we Deostara and would definitely work with them again in the future”.

COACHING FEEDBACK

“I want to give you a MASSIVE thank you for your support over this past 2 years, in particular for your asset-based approach to coaching and mentoring; for your brilliant work with us to design and deliver our Green Minds systems workshops; your fun and thought-provoking leadership course at Marjon's and your role as a critical friend supporting me to shape my dissertation. I still have the drawing I made at one of our sessions depicting myself/work over a year ago and I look back on that now and feel I have come so far......”

Dr. Ruth Harrell Director of Public Health

"The coaching programme was really successful and it provided breathing space for the team, which is what they need to think through their next priorities. It also has helped them in the way they are working. It helped both me and the team to refocus the priorities for Public Health and to re-broaden out the agenda once again.
I appreciated the tangible coaching tools and approaches that were introduced and applied in each of the four sessions and how they could be immediately applied elsewhere in the workplace.
We are really happy to work with Sybille Schiffmann of Deostara and Helen Sieroda, Director of the Wise Goose School of Coaching again in the future. You are the first choice!”

Senior Leadership Team Development and wider team integration

PAUL BROOKES CEO THE BOX PLYMOUTH

Recruiting for The Box brought together many of the staff from the previous Arts and Heritage service of the City Council, to be joined by a significant cohort of new managers and staff through external advertising.   A new, more entrepreneurial, culture needed to be developed whilst also respecting the very different disciplines of being a museum, an archive or a contemporary art gallery.

Deostara worked with us over 18 months before opening, helping us shape our vision as leaders and building a shared culture and values, as an organisation that was about to be engaging with a large and diverse public.

The journey was not an easy one, with a number of strong voices and passionately held views. Deostara were excellent at understanding our brief, giving space to reconcile differences, through a unique blend of energy, humour and insight, within a methodical structure to each of the sessions.

Definitely plan to work with them again.” Paul Brookes, CEO, The Box.

Giles Letheren Chief Executive

Delt have worked with Sybille for several years as a facilitator, consultant and coach. Sybille not only understands what our company does and why it does it, she is as enthusiastic as we are about Helping People Do Amazing Things.

Her broad academic and business background has proved invaluable to help us through interesting strategic and operational challenges which, given our hybrid public/private sector nature, are often unique.

Sybille can be counted on to ask the question you hadn’t thought of, to bring the challenge nobody else did and ultimately take you to a place where you make the right decision for the right reasons. We look forward to an ongoing partnership.

VIEW FROM HELEN SIERODA FOUNDER OF THE  WISE GOOSE SCHOOL OF COACHING

Here at Wise Goose we celebrate Sybille Schiffmann's role  as thinking partner, chair, co-facilitator, buddy and critical friend. I've always looked for opportunities to be a collaborative leader, it's a powerful and effective way of nurturing new ideas, creating space where innovation can arise and achieving tangible results. It can also be great fun.

But collaboration can also be challenging, taking skill, humility, openness, self-awareness and commitment. I know from previous painful experience, it can go wrong. In the past, I've naively walked into projects or organisations that only offered 'pseudo-collaboration' talking the 'win-win' talk but not walking the walk. Believe me it hurts when trust is violated,

I want you to know it was worth it, all of it - I'm still standing up for #leadership that embraces #collaboration and wholeheartedly taking the opportunity to celebrate working with Sybille -
